I think all illegal drugs should be decriminalized and given away free by the government to any idiot who wants it. That way the drug pushers would have no reason to sell to kids. There would have to be a certain age requirement to obtain it from the medical supply. I don't think this plan is a bad idea because because without the money involved in drugs, it would not be smuggled in. Also, there would be no need for millions spent on drug enforcement. Also, if was a taboo to go to a medical supply to get drugs less and less people would go every year. Like cigarettes.

No I don't; for one its decriminalized a great deal now. In our state its practically an infraction unless you are dealing it. There are no health benefits too it; legalizing it or making it less criminal is only going to increase the number of people driving under its influence...why do we want to add to the deaths already caused by driving under the influence? Its good as it is...criminal...and it should stay that way.

I'm just so happy you said decriminalized rather than legalized, it's a huge pet peeve of mine!

I say yes, tax it insanely, and put the money gained into real drug education programs

Absolutely. Your jails are stuffed to the breaking point with marijuana offenders. Just think about all of the real crime that could be taken on if cops weren't chasing pot heads. Not to mention all of the tax revenure the government would collect if it were treated like booze or cigarettes.

Yes, it grows everywhere and we are literally "leaving money on the table" as far as tax revenue goes. I can't understand why our government helps the tobacco growers and not the pot growers. It's been proven repeatedly that pot retards cancer cells and tobacco is a pretty sure thing when it comes to killing the citizens.

I suppose you can't expect too much from a group of people that are so easily boondoggled by their own president.

yes look what decriminalization of alcohol did to the gangsters of the 30s. it would actually eliminate a lot of crime. plus think of the revenue if you taxed it like cigarettes

i think it should have the same legal limitations as alcohol....
1) you should be 21 to use it
2)if you sell it to a minor then you should get in trouble
3)you can't use it an drive
4)there should be a legal limit to how "high" you can get
5)all car should come equipped with a breath-a-lizer to start a car (for alcohol and marijuana use)

This way no one under the influence can operate a vehicle and kill someone....drunk driving accidents would fall to zero and it should be illegal to remove the breath-a-lizer!!!

Yes, especially for medical reasons. In Denver, by law you can have marijuana if you have certain medical conditions such as cancer or AIDS; however, federally it is still illegal. I do not believe that marijuana is anymore, if not less, harmful than alcohol and liquor flows quite steadily in the US. :o)

Yes, it is far less harmfull than alcohol, or even prescription pills. Weed is good for your mind it opens it up and relaxes you. Stress is one of the killers in this country and weed makes all your problems go away, at least for a while.
