Go to a 99 cent store and buy a product called "Awesome".... (clear bottle, yellow liquid).

Boil water on the stove for use in a carpet cleaner (the hot water opens the carpet fibers to allow for thorough cleaning). Clean the snot out of the area.

Another product that works very well (far more expensive though, but affordable) is SpotShot. Both are enzyme cleaners and that's the only thing which will neutralize the urine to remove the odor. Good Luck.

Use "natures Miracle" for cats. It's a cleaning product you can get at Petco or Petsmart or those types of places. A couple other ideas: when you use the carpet cleaner dose the area with baking soda and let it soak for a few hours. this will "absorb" the oders. You may have to do it a couple times but I find it has worked well with other stains in the past. Also, my friend uses Pine sol that she has watered down and placed in a spray bottle. Works pretty well. Good luck.

Honestly the best thing to do is going to have to be, pulling your carpet up, and putting down new padding. Because the padding is whatis soaking up all the cat pee. Now to prevent it BEFORE it happens, you can get this stuff at pet stores where you spray all over the place on the carpet, and it makes them not want to use anything but their litter box. But unfortunately at this point there's ntohing you can do to get the smell out of your padding.

There is a product they sell at pet supply stores like PetCo or PetSmart called "Nature's Miracle". It is an enzyme treatment that breaks down the urine. The disadvantage is you have to leave the area relatively undisturbed before the treatment is complete. It works.

White vinegar works best. The vinegar smell leaves within minutes and when it dries the stain will disappear. Animals will always go back to where they priviously pottied, so, place a towel or store bought potty pad over it. That way you can just dispose of the pad or wash the thick towel which ever you choose to use and not have them go on your carpet. I do it and it works for my dogs.

If none of those worked... if you're truely at your wits end, rip up the carpet! Maybe there is nice flooring underneath, and maybe not. You can go with another carpet or get some type of hard wood floor or tile.

There's a product out there called Urine Gone, also great for poo stains.

Nothing really works for that....and as long as the smell stays, the cat will keep on urinating that spot. you should call a professional carpet cleaners. good luck!

Odoban. They sell it at Sam's Club or at Walmart. Mix with water and spray it on there. Now, it doesn't smell great at first, either, but better than cat pee.

Try zero pet spray. You can buy it on the internet. Just Google zero pet and it will show up on different sites. I had the same problem and this stuff really worked even on old oders. Good luck.
