when people refer to a sports team, they refer to them as we. as if they were on the team. "yeah, we one last night by 10 homeruns" just wondering ...

They "won" last night by 10 homeruns. And 10 home runs is a friggin blow out!

because as they say there is no I in team. Its because you are with several people and your are not going to say that i won the game because it takes the whole team(we) to win the game

I dunno, but you're right, it is goofy. Probably because they want to be part of the team or maybe they feel that they are so involved in the team (through watching it, etc) that they are part of it
