If they have a name that's longer than 3 words, and it's not something like:

"Hootie and the Blowfish"

or some other "and" name... then I don't listen to them. Nothing demonstrates a less skilled expressionist than someone who can't keep a band name under three words. It's very juvinile.

Examples:
Panic at the Disco
And You Will Know Us by the Trail of the Dead
And None of them Knew They Were Robots
The All New Adventures of Short Term Diary
All Below Have Manuals
An Episode of Empathy

That concept is a bit shallow don't you think? What's in a name? The name shouldn't matter, you should pay attention to the lyrics and the music. That's what makes a good band. So the answer is no.

i don't care about the name i will take a chance on any band because when it comes to music i am very open i mean i go from listening to Hawthorne Heights to Celine Dion to Barbra Streisand so that pretty much shows that i am very open. you can't judge a book by its cover and it is the same with a band, every band deserves a fair chance.

No way. Who wants to listen to a band named "Black Eye Pea"
or "Johnny Hates Jazz". If we do, might as well listen to
a band named "Queen" made up of men.

Well, if you even think of listening to or not listening to bands based on there name instead of being open minded and listening to there music, then you should have your testactles cut off for being stupid.

To me, it dosen't matter what the band's name is. I just listen to the chorus of 3 of their songs and then determine if I like that band or not. The name dosen't matter.
