you ask a very interesting question I have wondered about too. It could go 1 of 2 ways I think.

The first way could be that people knew they only had to depend on themselves and become much better at conservation, saving money for rainy days, and teaching the value of the dollar to their kids.

The other way would be the very poor who lost everything would be very jealous and angry at the rich, it could start wars, much more crime and things could get ugly.

What I think would happen is both ways. I think the conservative, value conscious people would save and work hard and hope for the best in a disaster, and some would steal and hurt others in order to steal what they needed.

It truly would be a third world. I think governments would have total control over peoples lives and there would be alot more war.

The world will be alil more chaotic coz the poor people will most likely kill for their needs.
