This is an old woman's opinion. (ok older than 13 by a few). Anyway, unless you really need the money don't work until your at least 16 or 17. Trust me, u have your whole life, I mean your whole life to work. Have fun now, and enjoy not having to go to work. I'll give you credit for your incentive.

try tutoring if you are really good at something. My daughter is a terrific musician. She rented a room from the local music store where she taught students privately after school and during summers. She started doing this when she was 14 and charged $8 per hour...she had 15 students in no time at all!

It is hard for someone whose your age to find a job, because the average teen starts working at age 15. You could do jobs around the house, or mow other people's lawns, or even baby-sit. Things like that.

Good luck!!

I don't know about other places, but where I live you have to be 16 to legally work. And even then you have certain restrictions of how many hours you can work and breaks you have to have. I'd stick to something like babysitting or dog walking or maybe lawn mowing until you are old enough.

Paper route is all I can think of. Oh, and mowing neighbor's yards, and stuff like that. Come winter time, if it snows in Corona (I'm not sure if that is north Cali or south), you can offer to shovel snow from people's driveways, especially elderly people.

For money? Hmmm...I'm afraid you are stuck with babysitting or mowing lawns. A job in general just to put on your resume later on and to keep you busy? Check into volunteering at the local hospital or nursing home.

Paper Route, the money isn't great but the work isn't that bad for a kid. Anything else you have to wait until you are 15 and then get a work permit.
