My friend Michelle (may she rest in peace) was shot in the head for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Michelle was only 15 and would now be 26. Her parents kicked her out, she was a bit of a trouble maker, who wasn't at that age? She and some of our friends were out early in the morning trying to find some friends to stay with for the night. As they were going into the apartment complex they ran into some people that felt like f*%#ing with them. One thing led to another and the next thing you know Michelle was dead, shot in the temple, point blank, for no reason but hatred! It's a sad world we live in when someone will take the life of an innocent person just for kicks!

My uncle was shot in the chest in Vietnam. My boyfriend was nearly shot in a 7-11 in New York City when the idiot robbing the place shot at random to prove the gun was loaded. It grazed my boy friend's shoulder which he started screaming and swearing about right away. The would-be robber panicked and ran.

My first cousin was killed in 1980 by a girlfriend. He had shot 2 previous women and never spent one day in jail.
