I'm afraid there may be no real answer to this question...it's makes no sense to me that there are people in this world who hurt children.

There is so many people that can hurt children out there because so many people are selfish and they don't care about others....or people make VERY VERY BAD decisions like shooting someone, sexually harassing someone. People like that are the people that hurt children(most of the time). Basically my answer is because people make BAD decisions.

alot of people have had those experiences in theri childhood and many are metally ill, others dont know how to take out their anger and see children as vulnerable, weak, and easy to hurt. Child abuse isnt reported alot because kids are afraid to tell someone else, they dont know who to go to and their abusers often threaten them with more abuse if they turn them in. The abusers dont get caught and proceed to do it to other children. Many people are sick and dont realize they need help.

Because there are so many people who were hurt as children, and they see it as a form of retaliation and/or justification when they become adults. This is just one possible answer. This, however, might be one of life's un-answerable questions.

I dont know but the bastards that decide to hurt children (anyone in truth) but especially children need to be tortured. i'm tallkin about almost lethal torture. Like cutting their lips off and making them drink out of a straw. I'm sorry, I'm a mother and I get very upset about that.

Because those morons feel that they need to feel that they're above someone else; usually children. People like that deserve the death penalty.

because weak people feel that, to make themselves feel better, that have to harm something weaker than then. Unfortunately children can often end up being the weaker member, that and animals.

Because their are so many people who have no idea what they are doing or why they are here.......Lots of folks have forgotten that the children and our elderly should be respected and cherished.........

I don't know. But I'll tell ya this, there is no punishment, torture, or penalty too severe for the abusers.
