Nephilim's who are they and where are they now ?

in Genesis chapter 6 it talks about the Nephilims were on earth before the flood then came back after the flood .Actually they were fallen angels ,that were giants in the eyes of the spies that were sent into the land of milk and honey.My question is who are they now and where are they?

Back when all the texts were compiled and what should (or not) be included in the New and Old Testaments was decided, some of the texts were left out.
While some were fully censored and destroyed (for example, the newly discovered "Gospel of Judas"), others were simply censored or adapted.
The existence of Nephilim was one of those situations, where the scriptures were slightly censored and therefore some rare references to generally unknown things can be read in there. Never heard of Lilith? That's another example of a removed text.

While in the link I'll provide below there is some information about your subject, you could also try to read the "Dead Sea Scrolls" or "Apocrypha", as they have some of the texts that were cut out and (perhaps) provide more information on Nephilim.

The Nephilim which means those that were cast down were the old gods of myths, (one theory), ancient astronauts, (another theory), or fallen angels, (still another theory), that mated with human women and had offspring. This is apparently the reason for god sending the flood to kill mankind because of the interbreeding between the two different species.

However, in the ancient astronaut theory, the flood was caused by the melting ice caps in Antarctica which triggered a massive tsunami that caused the flood, (at the end of the ice-age). The leader of the aliens was aware that the flood would happen but didn't tell the humans so that they could be killed off because he was angry with the interbreeding.

Some claim that they were fallen angels but that is also
speculation in an attempt to clarify the passage in the bible. From what I know angels are spirituals beings and god would not have made them capable of having sex much less reproducing with humans. Some says they were fallen angels in the spiritual sense that went into the bodies of human men and had children with human women. This does not make sense, because the physical offspring of this union would be just plain more humans.


If you read the ancient Sumerian texts which are from what the story of Noah was derived, you will see they were called Annuanki, which means those to earth from heaven came.

The Genesis chapter abruptly jumps from introducing them to talking about the wickedness of the world, the set-up to the Noah story. One Biblical scholar, a few years ago, came up with an etymology for the name, arguing that it means "those meant to die". It was in an issue of Biblical Archeology Review, as I recall. I remember him mentioning that there is another place in the Old Testament - one of the Samuels or Kings I think - where they are mentioned, although not in any English translation. The Masoretic Hebrew used same phrase. In that part of the text, the writer was referring to soldiers sent on a suicidal mission.

Nowhere are the Nephilim angels, fallen or otherwise. If your Bible says that, its a poor translation.
