First off, I'd quit using whatever deoderant he was using in case he is allergic to it.
One website said that you should see a doctor if:
a boil becomes extremely large or painful
a cluster of boils form or you have an abscess
boils become increasingly common
red lines spread out from the center of the boil
the boil is extremely tender
fever and chills develop
lymph nodes begin to swell that are located in other areas of the body from where the original lymph node swelling occurred.
Another website said it could be blocked hair follicles (hidradenitis).

You can get cancer in your lymph nodes in your armpit, that's how i found out, that i had cancer, The lump that i found in my armpit was taken for biopsy & was found to have cancer cells in it, i then had 42 lymph nodes removed from that area, My lump was never pain full though, go check it out, it could just be a cyst, but it's better to be safe than sorry, good luck.

i would really think about going to the doctor and getting his advice on what could be causing these boils to keep coming up.. also change deodorants and try using anit-bacterial soap... but i would try and make a appointment with the doctor... and i do not know about keep pinching them out cause it could cause it to set up infection...take him to the doctor and let them decide the best way to go...

My mom used to get them. She had to go to the doctor each time to bust them. If they are reaccurring, then it is heredity. Her doctor said that they are nothing to worry about right now unless she starts feeling sick or feverish. But other than that, it was fine.

I used to have a problem like that when I was younger. It was caused by certain deodorants. Try switching to a hypo-allergenic deodorant and see if it helps.

i would go to my doctor and have this checked out, maybe problems with your deodorant, or something to do with the glands under his arms. be safe and have it checked.
