My goodness, doesn't harboring all this hatred make you need to take naps or something? There is one quote in the bible about homosexuality, which can also be intrepreted as rape depending on what version you are reading. There are over 200 passages on the sins of heterosexuals. I just hope when you are writing these things your side of the road is clean.

Relax, not all Christians dislike gay people... in fact most disagree with what the mean people that diss gay people say and do. They are only scared of what they don't understand... love. Try to talk to more open-minded Christians. God is love.
Oh and ignore the people that are telling you about what Christ thinks, they don't know, they are not Christ. The Bible says nothing about it, I know, I've looked it up. God loves all his children.

I wouldn't use hate so loosely, hate is a very powerful. I would say that Christians find homosexuality or the act of homosexual offensive base on what some are taught from reading the bible. Some have taken it upon themselves to feel adamant about homosexuality being nasty and condemning before God. What is consider the norm? It is everyday life that society has fixated in our minds of whats right and wrong. No one can pass judgment. I'm sure there are several things that we wouldn't tell because of the embarrassment and the opinion of others...so why should Christians care? There are some homosexuals that are in the pulpit, what are they doing about them? Read the link below, it may give you a better idea why some are against homosexuality.

I am a Christian and I resent you stating your question to sound like ALL of us hate homosexuals. We do not. Only those who are ignorant and ill-informed do. Let me remind you that there are a lot of people who are not Christian who hate homosexuals too.
Christians are to "hate the sin and love the sinner", definately, yes. We are to educate, not berate. If someone does not want to hear the truth, then we are to not "cast our pearls" and leave them be. The Bible mentions heterosexual sin much more, especially men who commit adultry. Why don't more people in general hate that? Because for a long time men were running the show and are they going to hate themself or their buddies? No.
The Bible states, regarding homosexual sin (meaning the sexual act, not the person) is an "abomination" against God. That means that the homosexual act is going against what God originally intended between a man and a woman.
"Is it their business", certainly is when you have homosexuals trying to slap God in the face by wanting to be "married" like a man and woman. They should simply address the issue in a different way, not mock Christian beliefs, which is what they are doing essentially. I don't believe that homosexuals should marry. I don't believe that if they are "practicing" they should hold a clergy position, afterall, that is another slap in the face to God.
Look closely at what is taking place here, it is Christianity that is being attacked, not the other way around.

This complete factor was once just a little of a diatribe encased in pretense. You have got to quit convincing your self that you're by some means awesome or morally right when compared to people who hate gays overtly. Those who deny all clinical breakthroughs and conclusions at the subject of being born homosexual are willfully ignorant. How would you ever recognise that being homosexual isn't a option until you had been homosexual? So quit judging.

Christianity is about conformity and Authority. I read this about Fundamentalists somewhere. People who do something outside of the norm are showing that a person doesn't need to follow the herd, fall into line, and march to the beat of the Authority. This is a threat to that Authority because it only has power when it is being obeyed or conformed to. They feel that this threatens the fabric of society and chaos would ensure should people not 'follow the leader'. They think homosexuality is a choice. Why they think that is another topic entirely. Since, in their minds, homos choose to spurn the accepted norms they are rebels of the worst kind. Being proud of the choice to rebel puts homos in roughly the same category as biker gangs and other outlaws. If they would only realize that homosexuality is not a choice, they would realize how conservative and socially conscious most gay communities really are.

No, it is not their business to hate others.
The question is, "What does God think about people who get involved immorally?" According to the Bible, homosexual sex, like anyother sin (premarital sex, gluttony, hate) is sin...according to the New Testament.
If I were you I would care less about what Christians think and more about what Christ thinks. Check out the Bible for yourself (Romans, 1 Corinthians, John).
Also, you are quoting the Old Testament law as evidence for your point. According to Romans, because of Jesus, we are no longer under the law (thank God) but under grace. Some other things that were wrong or made you unclean under the law- touching dead bugs, eating pork, working on the sabbath, having oozing wounds, etc...
Have a good day.
btw- Claytes, the Bible does NOT say, "Hate the sin not the sinner." Although we are to love people because God loves people.

Not all Christians hate homosexuals. That is a huge generalization. The bible says that hate is a sin, it also says homosexuality is wrong. The essence of Christianity is to accept our flaws as humans, ask for redemption and to love one another like Jesus loved even the sinners.
A true Christian may not approve of homosexuality, even see it as a sin, but a true Christian will embrace the teaching that everyone of us is loved by God, and unique and they will not turn their back on a homosexual. To be a Christian is to love because love is all that is real.

Christians(true Christians) dont hate homosexuals.
And the menstraul cycle is in old testemant( Rules the Jews were supposed to follow)( when Jesus came,Jesus set new rules up for Christians.
One of those is dont hate anyone.
Hate the sin not the sinner.
Homosexuality is a sin, but so is hating someone. So those that hate gays arent following Christianity, they are following thier own agendas( we call people like this Cultural Christians, people who use Christianity to help thier own agendas

Well let me be honest here....anyone who hates anyone is not only wasting precious time and energy, but not being a very good christian. There are some extrememly narrow, ignorant, close-minded fools who would hate somebody simply for that one aspect of who they are. But it really isn't all christians. Unfortunately, those groups happen to be more vocal and out spoken.
Yes they should mind their won business unfortunately, I think there is something about the christian duty to spread the word of God..something or other. It's all a bunch of....nonsense anyways. Ignore em, forgive them, God will forgive them (if they repent in time).

Christians don't hate Homosexuals. They hate the action. Hate the sin, not the sinner. I'm not calling homosexuality a sin, but that is how some Christians see it.

Christians do not hate homosexuals FUNDAMENTALISTS hate homosexuals. There are churches (The United Church of Christ -- [not to be confused with the Church of Christ] for example) that support full equality for homosexuals, including in some cases, gay marriage.
Do not confuse Christians with fundamentalists. While many fundamentalists claim to be Christians -- they are really biblio-idolators, and as far as I and a lot of people I know are concerned are a completely different religion.
