Gipson Research Corporation has a free service, they supply "maximum entropy" random passwords. Find a chunk you like and use it for a password, if you can remember it. If you write it down, then you must safeguard the written copy.

if your husband is a genius is computer stuff, desperate like hiring a hacker, or he will frankly tell you "show me the contents of your computer" then the only thing to do is buy an external hard disk drive and store all of your personal files there... keep it where your husband can't find it (unless your husband hire a swat team there's no way he can find or access it)

but if you husband is only a husband that is curious about everything all you have to do is to
1.)put your personal files in a zipped file (remember to put password on that and remember to remember you password)
2.) try hiding that zipped file (right click on that spesific file(windows users) and click hidden, press apply)
3.) to make it more secure, try removing its file extension
example: abcdefg.zip (abcdefg represents the name of your file)
the ".zip" is the extension file, rename that spesific file and remove ".zip", it will be unaccessible if you remove it... if your husband is a computer geek, he'll have a hard time figuring out what spesifc program to run to open that file. what I mean by hard time is really a hard time that he'll quit...

before I forget, if you wanna open that spesific file again, press start, find and type the name of that file (remember to click the "search for hidden files" rename that spesific file again (put.zip) open it, type your million dollar password and you have access again....

There is a program called Password Agent Lite (free for 25 passwords less) that can be downloaded at download.com. Using the template for passwords, you can generate strong passwords.

Your best bet is to set a bios password however, there is no total sercure system password. You could always lock your computer inside a safe.
