Can I hook my dsl up to my psp?

I have a Sony PSP and I was wondering if I could use my mini usb cable to plug my PSP into my dsl modem and go online like that instead of going on wirelessly.

well first you need to have a wireless router. then all you do is go into your connection manager in your psp and do a site survey. once you find your router connect to it. with your router has a wep or encryption code you'll have to enter it as well before you can surf on the net. let me know if you have any other ?s. peace
