I need help with GBA (like Game Shark) for Gameboy Advanced, Pokemon Ruby Version.?

I just bought this for my son, he wants to find Legendary pokemon. Can you please help me walk him though it?

He is only 6 so he is learning to read.

well i say that if he is old enough to read by himself, then tell him to go to gamefaqs.com. then he should look for the guide for pokemon ruby. they may swear, so if you dont like that, read the walkthrough first, then let him use it.
p.s. it would have helped if you would state the age of your son.
