Would it be ethical to feed him this since he probably cant really even enjoy say a Filet Mignon or a Croque Monsieur with the rest of us. It retails for about 40 dollars for a 75LB bag and apparently tastes really nice. What does everyone think?

Are you sure that MongoChow is the right choice? Sure it tastes great, but I think its geared more for "weight" challenged children...as the prefix Mongo implying large.
