As being sortof tall i alway wondered what people thought. I'm about 5'9"

From a mans point of view, every body has different preferences. But I would think that being tall is a disadvantage because when you wear heels you are taller than many men and that reduces the market for you. I prefer short and solid built. It makes for a nice cuddly affect in bed and at the movies. Short girls look so precious to me, but as I said, it is in the eye of the be holder. What about dress sizes and selection of clothes, that must a problem too. Shorter girls can wear teen clothes and adult clothes. But concern your self no more, you are what you are and perfect at that.

Well it all depends if you are a girl and you are tall then its either modeling for you or having a hard time finding a boyfriend who is taller than you, but if you are a guy besides looking like sasquach or lirch then its all good, but for me i believ im average heigth 5'7" and i cant complain some people call me short and to others i am tall, but basically you cant be to short or you cant get on rollercoasters or you cant be to tall cause you are usually stupid

Well for women I really don't think it matters. Men like short women. For a man I would say tall. Most women like taller men.
Heard the saying
Tall,dark and handsome....
Most star's are tall. So it would probably be worst for a man to be short then a women. 5'9 is tall to me...

both have different advantages for a girl - being short can make you look cute but being tall makes you look beautiful!
For a man I think tall - I am 6'3.5" which is a good height - tall enough people notice but not so tall people stare!
any of my friends under 6' all wish they were taller while none of my friend over 6' want to be shorter!!!

Actually, I think being average height is best. I'm tall and I find it hard to find clothes that fit, and my back aches from trying to fit in a world designed for people shorter than I am. My boyfriend is 6'8" and he has trouble finding clothes, and constantly has to duck in doorways. Also, he gets a lot of attention when out in public, and it's a drag. My daughter is short, and she finds that she's not taken as seriously. Sometimes she has trouble finding clothes that fit, and has to pull her seat up close to be comfortable driving. Supposedly, tall people get more respect, but as a tall woman, I find it makes people insecure, like I'm out to bullly them, or that I'm aggressive. I really notice this around men who are my height or not as tall!

Hi, I have always wanted to be tall, I'm only 4-11,''& it's such a pain! I have to climb up on chairs or what have you in order to get things clean so your totally the lucky one, as far as I can see! Be glad that your tall!!.

I think it's good to be tall alot of modeling agencies want tall people remember this
short is cute but tall is sexy.

short bcuz u can get a tall boyfriend or a short one
but tall ones have to get taller boyfriends
its only goo being tall to play bball or modeling
but on most soap operas u have to be short
and being tall (for girls) u cant hide like short ones **lol**

Some guys like tall girls like models and others prefer the cute short ones. It doesn't matter neither is better just be happy being you. BTW I am 5ft 6in.
