ok..for all the people that said no because its his fault that over 2,500 people died- Its not his fault that they died. They decided to go to war. It was their choice. And what would you rather have. Us over their or them over here ruining our whole country? If John Kerry were in office none of us would probably be here right now because he is to liberal to fight and cant make good decisions. I am happy that my parents and all of my family voted for Bush both times. I wish that he could serve more than 2 years. ---Republicans Rock---

Just wanted to let you know a few things:
1. It is spelled "President" Bush.
2. It is "over there." "Their" is possessive.
3. "Too" liberal, not "to" liberal.
4. A president elected twice will serve for eight years, not two.

It is clear why you are a bush supporter. You are uneducated, which is likely the fault of many, but not you. So don't get down on yourself for being a little mentally screwed up. But Bush is not even a good republican. Go read the news, dear.

YES, a wonderful, caring man, smarter than Al Gore was at college!!! Is consistent and steadfast which this country needs. Who needs a liberal president who will let anything happen in his country. President Bush is a good person and anyone who thinks he is not, is a not an American. Never run your country down. There are lots of things wrong here and he is trying his best to fix things. And to those who talk about the WMD's. Saddam had months to move his stuff to Iran, Jordan and Syria. So for your info. look in those countries and you will find the wmds. I lived in the middle east and do you think Saddam would leave everything there to be found. If he did, we would be really smart would'nt we. He knew to move them and lots of Iraqis told us that before the war started.

President George W. Bush is a very good president. He got the economy going again, cut taxes, and most impotently, HE IS KEEPING AMERICA SAFE. He is working to keep future generations of Americans from having to deal with many international problems. He is trying to keep the Iranians from having nuclear weapons, the same for North Korea. Even though he has some of the largest dollar deficits, in history, as a percentage of the GDP, they are relatively low. I think that he won the election. Even though the Supreme Court had to step in in 2000, he won the 2004 election out right. He did not steal the elections. In Florida in 2000, every recount went to him. Not one would have had the election go to Al Gore.

Men & women did not die because "President Bush is a bad president". They died because they were serving their country and were helping to make the world a better place.

No one said men & women died because Bush(senior), Reagan, Nixon, Johnson, Eisenhower, McKinley, Hayes, Lincoln or Washington were bad presidents, and they were all presidents during wars-- doing what they believed was right. All of the soldiers who served under them died in honor on the battlefield.

By saying that the soldiers who have died in Iraq died because we have a "bad president", you are effectively removing their honor - their honor of fighting for a just cause, and their honor of dying defending what they believed in.

You're effectively walking to Arlington Cemetery and shouting, "You all died for nothing-- just because of a bad president!"

Saddam Hussein was a horrible, corrupt, murderous warlord who crushed his people into subordination and subservience.
And George W. Bush is a "bad president" for freeing the country of this?

I'm sorry-- but if I were to die serving my God, my family, my President and my country the way these 2,500 you speak of did, it would be an honorable death indeed.

The vast majority of soldiers know this work in Iraq must be completed. Either help them, or leave them to their work. You might want to consider supporting your country, while you're at it. And that includes your President - regardless of whether or not you agree with him 100%.

GWB is very active and is not just sitting on his keyster doing nothing and playing it safe like most presidents do. Of course we wont know how great of a president he is for about 5 or 10 more years.

In my opinion anyone who is ready to do something risky, difficult and who has new ideas is always disliked at first.

I think that George W Bush is more honest than any other politician in recent history. He knows the war on terror is necessary just like every other person, and he also knows he is scapegoated for it, but still does the right thing.

OBVIOUSLY there is a terror problem, doing nothing (like before) doesnt work. So, we do something, and everyone is upset at us. Keep this in mind, the United States does more for the world than anyone in the world does for us, and we're hated and resented for it. No good deed goes unpunished. Of course that makes us arrogant and distrust the pop judgements of other countries.

The French and Italians dislike us and our "hickish" ways, but dont forget it was our oafish corn fed soldiers from the good old US who have over and over showed up and risked our necks for them. Read up on that time, everyone said "why is the US getting involved in this, its not their business, they are a young empirical nation, etc". This hasnt changed much, and its the language of people who are afraid and want to sit on the sidelines.

Absolutely not! Bush has been the worst president ever. No jobs, no money, no stocks, can't afford gas, food, prescriptions, drs. or pretty much anything else. The economy is horrible, most companies no longer provide insurance or retirement plans. There are too many things to list them all. Bush has really ruined this country, we are hated by everyone in the world because of him. Of course, I can't blame them as they equate us with our leader. We all know that the leader of this country deserves no respect and should not be in a position of power. Unfortunately, there are many who can't recognize evil when they see it. The man is evil!

Yes, and he at least wants to keep our country free and safe, as well as most decent people do.
I believe that with God's help we will win the right to keep us close to him, safe from other 9/11's.
Pray that this is not drawing out just more of the dirty people that knows not what lack of freedom is, here in this country, USA.

post # 8: I thank you Lord Jesus for blessing our leader George W. Bush, a man who follows in David's footsteps, patiently waiting on and trusting in You!

I thank you for seeing us all through this horrible time of evil; the Islamic terrorist threat and our sinful domestic swarray into cultural darkness.

I am so deeply encouraged to see that so many people voted to turn the tables on these whose delight was so bent on ignoring your will and obstructing the people's will because they thought they knew best.

Thank you God so much.

Yes. I'd sure hate to have to make some of the hard decisions that ANY president has to make.

You will get mostly NO answers with that question because most of the people participating in yahoo answers are political idiots.

Too many Americans are too stupid to realize this is a war on TERROR. They are waiting for someone to blow themselves up in a restaurant, store, bus, plane, etc. with THEIR kid on it. It's no accident that we haven't been attacked since 09-11-2001.

Take the fight to them !!!

considering the mess he was left to clean up because Clinton was to busy with his cigars, I say he's a great president, and there's been others before him that had to make decision people didn't like , and if we exist long enough we'll see others have to make even harder ones , but if you like him or not , he certainly didn't wimp out he has stood his ground I think he's a very strong president, and we don't know all that he has to face everyday while you sleep and play and do what you want to, freely, do you? we haven't a clue , so some of you need to grow up , I wonder what kind of decision you would have made with the information he was given that caused him to go to war ?

NO. You say that the people who died decided to go to war and it was their choice. What about the innocent people who are dying everyday? The women and children who are dying for no reason??? Bush is a horrible president!!
