to be truly eco-smart when shoping try buying organic fruit and vegetables, grains and meat. This means that the place that grew the fruit is acting ecologically clever so you need to support their efforts by purchasing their products.
plus
when going shopping take your own bags with you so you are reusing bags, don't place things in indivudal plastic bags, use brown paper bags made from recycled paper.
plus
support smaller grocers and not the big department stores.
plus
if you want a website link then simply use a search engine and type in what it is you want. If you know a specific phrase place that phrase within inverted commas such as
"eco friendly shopping"
or
"eco friendly"+shopping+food
also use ecologically friendly cleaning products and minimise the use of cleaners, use more elbow grease and less of everything else.

Recycle, use only lights and appliances that are necessary! Turn off light, t.v. radio when not using. Be very Conservative and strict about your energy use. At the gas pump choose Ethanol, it is not a fossil fuel. However still limit the amount of driving that you do. Pick up groceries on the way home from work. Do more in one trip rather than making several separate trips in the car. turn air cooling and heating system down / off when away from home. It is all about cutting back or stop using fossil fuels.

Just look for recycled goods. there are a couple of companies that make recycled TP and tissues and paper towels. also, buy organic (not less cost, but very Eco-friendly). if you want cheaper with less packaging waste, buy in bulk.

usually on the packages of products it will tell you if the packaging is made out of post consumer, which means it has been made out of recycled products. those are the best to buy, also recycle and complete the process of being a "eco-smart" consumer.

The BEST website in the world is this:
www.ask.com
I was taught to use it in college a few years back. You just type in your question, like you did here, and it will give you every website that is out there and list them in the ranking order of information that they have available.
I am sure if you go there, you will get MORE than enough of the information you desire! Good luck!

I do just like the Smart however I'm now not going to be purchasing one. I could recall it despite the fact that if....I lived on my own (reside with dad and sister) and wanted a vehicle (purchased a brand new Corolla in '06). btw..for the ones of you complaining approximately the fee...it's to Mercedes what the brand new Mini is to BMW plus do not forget approximately the importation tasks when you consider that the vehicle is developed in Europe.
