If you like to watch movies Netflix is great. I have been using their service for years. We order 3 movies at a time, watch them, send the movies back in the pre-paid envelope, and get 3 more in a couple of days! They send you an e-mail letting you know they received the movie back and which one they will be sending next. It's cheaper than going to a rental store where is costs about $7 a movie. Depending on which company you use the combined costs of HBO, Cinemas, and Starz could be quite expensive. Netflix has different plans, because we watch many movies we use the 3 at a time plan which costs about $18. So depending on how many movies you actually watch it could be beneficial. It is for me!

I did over three years ago, most of its rubbish on HBO etc.
And you only get about four new movies a month.
Netflix is the best, as they have over thirty thousand movies, Television shows, from the USA and Britain, where I order a lot of mine. Being a transplanted Brit, it keeps me in touch. I can get some of those shows over here on PBS and BBC American, but it's nice having that great selection.
So I would say yes sign up, and check out all the star ratings, and what the people say about the movies, plus lots of other information on there.
You can also get and give recommendations to and from friends.

I say go for one of the other rental places. Netflix is good for the first month but if you keep returning movies too fast they will slow you down. At first I could get 3 movie on Monday return them on Tuesday and get 3 new movies on Wednesday. Unlimited rentals really means 3 movies per week under the three at a time agreement. They have been sued for this practice but they still do it. I wil try Brockbuster next time.

Go with Netflix. The $17.99 plan is the best plan. They have over 60,000 titles and shipping is free and fast - you get the DVDs in 2 days or less. Get the free trial for 2 weeks and see how many movies you can rent. I've been using them for over 3 months now and rent 13 DVDs on average each month. http://www.idvdrentals.com/netflix.php

Netflix- choose what you want to see! I gave up on HBO over 10 years ago because all their movies were pan & scan, and they'd started talking over the end credits!

KEEP your channels. NETFLIX is awful, slow mailing, slow return. Limited amount of movies to rent. POOR service. I got scratched up DVD's all the time.

Keep them. However, if you are more interested in burning movies, then I suggest you go with Netflix.
