What the left in its hew and cry over this does not tell you is that many labor contracts are tied to the minimum wage. They aren't doing this for the kids who want to make a few dollars in a summer job; they are promoting it because xyz union's contract is listed as "3x" the minimum wage. If they can raise the minimum wage a buck their minions get a $3 an hour raise.
By the way; to the author of this question; yeah its those "big fat coperations" that pay the bills in this country by giving us working stiffs the jobs to do so.

What's really wrong with Congress is that there are only two major political parties operating in the US at any one time. If we had a three- or four-party system, then there would actually be real shifts of power possible, instead of just choosing between the Democrats and the Republicans, who I sometimes have trouble telling apart. The US is becoming a uniparty system masquerading as a two-party state, despite the heated battles between Republican and Democrat.

Allowing so many unrelated items in one bill that the average person can't hold the incumbent accountable! One good idea one law no unrelated attachments, riders, amendments, or what ever is the going name. If the item is good for the country, it should be able to stand on it's own.
This would stop negative adds, because the record would be clear. I know this will never happen the people in government don't wish to be accountable.

Corporations are not sucking Americans dry Einstein, however, the spending in Congress is sucking us dry.
Want to know why we have a deficit, just ask our Congressmen about their nasty spending habits.

One party allowed to unilaterally dictate the agenda, which completely eliminates the system of checks and balances so crucial to our Constitution. Absolute power corrupts absolutely!

- There are sixty 8 million acres of drilling facilitates that were licensed for oil organizations to drill on, yet the position little drilling is taking position. even notwithstanding Bush opened up 3 cases extra land to drill on than Clinton, kin production has fallen, because, even as oil became $10/bbl a decade in the past, the oil organizations reduce down on their exploration and drilling potential, and - the U.
