I was about 14-15 when I started wearing make-up, Not too much just a little bit of mascara and lip gloss, and as for clothes they were never an issue as my parents pretty much approved of my choice in clothing. I don't know how old you are, but remember when it comes to make-up less is more, the natural look is in style. Most people would rather see your beautiful face then gobs of lipstick eyeliner blush etc. I think as long as you wear clothing that is age appropriate with all your parts covered your parents shouldn't have a problen with what you want to wear.

they let me when i was 12 but i'm a good girl (i'm 14). I don't wear those kind of slutty clothing. I learned to be what i want to be and who i am in front of everyone and dress how i want to Jamie Sullivan-character from "A Walk to Remember" taught me that great movie by the way and trust me, i am like by everyone, but don't think i wear geeky clothing. If i like something in style, even out of style, i buy it and wear it! Don't care for what others think and don't fall into peer pressure
