as with the other chap above me i am working a night shift its 0500 GMT in the morning and getting to the end of a 11 hour shift. The news is boring as it is always about violence and trouble but world cup fever is taking over the whole of where i live, and to be honest im not keen on football but watch it because i feel i must but this is the only time i watch.I love the weather over in the states, and unfortunatley we have football hooligans that keep letting our country down, still some men cant hold a drink without a fight the same lot who beat up thier women no doubt !!

Firstly and at the present time most importantly, England are on their way to winning the World Cup, so most of the country is feeling very patriotic at the moment, Americans could never understand the passion English fans have for their game, if you take your American Football, you know where your guys are all padded up, helmets, etc, its similar to our Rugby, but our guys are just in their shorts and tops, no protection wear, were tough you see, well your game what it means to your fans and supporters, increased this 100fold and you may understand what our country is going through at the moment. COME ON ENGLAND.
Secondly, we are aware of Global Warming, I believe your President is becoming aware of this problem, its where the plant we live on is in danger of man made polution killing our future generations, you know all those big oil fields your country like to take from other countries and dominate world prices.
Thirdly, we have a sense of humour, hence this message and our Prime Minister.

Just read the news...you'll soon see how people get away with terrible crimes but convicted and prison for the most pathetic offence!
Apart from stuff like that, the only thing to be happening over here is that my cat is going to wake my kids in a minute if i dont open the front door to her, and my niece is having her baby soon......whoo, i imagine you to fall down with all the excitement we occur here!

Well, you did say that you didnt care what the answer was about!!

There is no difference between here & the USA,what with Mcdonalds,Kfc,Pizza Hut.Our people even speak American English now.The British Government is so subservient to Washington I think the British people should have a vote in your Presidential elections, what's the point in our voting for British politicians, when we are really being Governed by Washington?

well, in the morning i encounter some black ninjas on the way (Muslin women wearing they full black clothes).
Moon time i notice fish and chips everywhere and then i feel hungry coz i am vegetarian.
On the afternoon i met though Jamaican guys with they dogs , wearing at least 5 underwear.
On the evening i watch the news and of course, yours Simpson's.
Later I watch Ester End, great soap opera.
That is it, boring as the English face.
Unless you want to go to a Pub, get drunk, **** someone in the street and get shot or arrested, than , really, there is no fun...

It's 3.47am.
Most of us are asleep. Some, like me, are at work. We work a lot. A hell of a lot. In fact, I'm just in the middle of a 12-hour shift.

The UK, or rather England in particular is in the middle of World Cup fever. Football. (Soccer to you). There are England flags EVERYWHERE. The proliferation of flags reminds me of Florida post-9/11. Flags stuck to cars, hanging out of windows, painted on people's buttocks, you name it. It's actually quite nauseating.

Oh well, it'll end soon, when England get knocked out in the next match then everyone can go back to working 12 hour shifts without sneaking onto the web to watch the football.
