First of all, Chinese Birth chart did not work for me. I am 8 months preggo with my first baby, a boy, and the birth chart said it was a girl. Also, My friend is having a girl it said she was having a boy so... just my experience. Anyway, I read an article in Parents magazine just today that had some "wives tales" of upping your chances. One said to have sex when the moon is full for a girl, because of the electromagnetic pull. Another said that you should change your diet to be high in calcium and magnesium (milk, cheese, cereals, and beans) because it will change the ph level of your body so that you are more acidic and less alkaline. (Cut back on red meats, vegetables, and salt.)Which mens you lower the chance of male sperm surviving long enough to fertilize. Also based on your ph, you do not HAVE to orgasm because when you orgasm you become more alkaline. One other that I read, and one of my friends strongly believes in, try the missionary for a girl and rear- entry for a boy. Shallow penetrationmakes it harder for the weaker male sperm to reach the egg. My friend did the rear-entry the last time and finally got a boy after her two girls! GOOD LUCK!!

Tricks To Conceiving

There is *no* way to be sure to have a girl. However, you *can* increase the odds. The only method with any scientific backing is the Shettles method (see sources section below). Since it has only a 75-90% success rate, you should only use it if you will be thrilled to have a baby of either sex. For highest likelihood of having a girl, please read the book, not just the Web site.

The "Chinese Ovulation Calendar" can be a fun game (if you enjoy that sort of thing) but it is nowhere near accurate. I have 5 kids. When I have tried out any of these calendars (and they're all different, too--what does *that* tell you), they're right for about half my kids (always either 2 or 3 right). About the same as you'd expect by flipping a coin. In fact, it couldn't *possibly* be 99% accurate (as some claim); how would you explain boy-girl twins? And...if a woman goes into labor early (*some* of the charts are based on date of birth), does her baby magically change sex?

Good luck!!

Giving birth to a new life is indeed a blessing which almost every woman would wish to have. How to get pregnant naturally https://tr.im/TqXjZ
Enjoying the feeling of motherhood and raising a family would surely be a couple’s dream. Some get it naturally, while for some others things don’t seem to work as they desire. These reasons which stop a women from conceiving can be due to either physical reasons or truly physiological.

First of all you can check the chinese gender chart which for some odd reason always seems to be right. Secondly , I have 2 boys and wanted a girl so.... I assumed my husbands strongest swimmers were male or that he had more of them so a few days before I was to ovulate I helped him achieve orgasm several times "to deplete the males" the we had intercourse when I ovulated and I now have a 3 yr old daughter.
Also male sperm are faster and get to the egg faster but they do not survive in the body as long as female sperm so if you have sex 2 days prior to ovulation you are more likely to have a female sperm reach the egg than a male sperm. Good Luck.

There is currently no way to be absolutely positive that one will conceive a boy or girl. However, fertility clinics and sperm banks can work with a semen sample to get out as many of the male sperm as possible. It's isn't cheap, but it is not about 90% accurate. If it means that much to you, I would go see an OB/GYN and see if they are willing to help you!

Unfortunately, no. There are myths and fun things like that that couldnt hurt your chances, but I dont think they would be much help. We wanted a girl also because we had 2 boys. We just prayed and begged that we would have a girl and we did! But there is never any guarantee...unless you spend thousands of dollars at the clinic where you can choose the gender. Good luck!

Unfortunately not...its all genetics. There are myths and old wives tales. You can check the Chinese Birth Calendar, some people swear by it, I'll let you know in the next 10 days if it came true for me. I dont know what Im having and due July 7th. Its just a novelty really, but some people swear by it.

I honestly believe that the "males" are the best swimmers - girls are the ones who last longer -

therefore if sperm can live 3 days - you ovulate in 3 days have sex and then the girls will fertilize not the boys - time the ovulation

im not a scientist and both are GREAT
