WHY........?A minority can be a group, party or faction with a smaller number of votes or adherents than the majority.OR
a racial, religious, ethnic, or political group smaller than and differing from the larger controlling group in a community, nation, etc. Or the period or condition of being under full legal age...I think i know where you are going with this...Why the number 4?and without looking up all the past president t see if one , was considered a minority for one of the reasons above could be something you are probably able to do on your computer. Now if you mean a specific race, like an african american, a chinese, or a person of a different ethnic background, well I can tell you now that no person other than a caucausian has run for politics up to this point.........Hope this helps .if. you know the answer, please tell

The answer lies within your definition of the word minority. I will say that a "minority" is defined as someone who is less like all the rest in SOME area. The biggest area of difference between MOST of our founding fathers and the later presidents is RELIGION. The common belief is that all the presidents were Christian. This is NOT true. This is a modern Christian Church programming of History. The founding fathers were direct revolters and descendents of revolters coming out of Christian hard ruled England. They hated England and all it represented. Our founding fathers were Deists and not Christians. They believed in a higher power / god, yet were not Christian sheep followers. In God we Trust. Not in Jesus we trust. So, by definition, Ben Franklin, John Adams, Jefferson and Washington would have been MINORITIES. There are places on the web with direct quotes from each of these guys and by looking at their words, they were NOT Christian and not in the minority at the TIME. Over time as more settlers came to America and Christianity took hold, they became the minority.

Minority presidents are those who won without a majority of popular vote. There are 19 minority Presidents starting with John Q. Adams & including Abraham Lincoln, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, Bill Clinton & George W. Bush.
It does not refer to race.

Unfortunatly this country is still so racially biased that they will/would elect a dumb white man over an intelligent minority. Hopefully one day this country can get over itself and realize the potential of people of color etc... and not judge by the color of skin but the degree of intelligence and maturity one posesses.......

do a 'google' search for foreign presidents.......many countries have presidents that aren't 'majority' to the population. maybe 'refine' the search by 'minority presidents'
