I'd say LCD or Plasma. But don't just check Best Buy. Look around, look online, look at circuity city, wal-mart, frys, best buy, everywhere.

well get the best quality tv, obviously, and find the cheapest price on it, Best Buy is tha best choice, because you can't trust ebay to have a tv worth $1200

Go to your local library or bookstore and check out consumer reports, they give you the best advice. They will give you ratings on different brands and consumer reports best buy.
