I'm 15 and active, if you know what I mean. My period is still very irregular and has been for almost 2 years so I cant rely on that to know if I'm pregnant or not. Is there any symptoms I should look for and is there anything I can get that is inexpensive and that I dont have to go to a pharmacy for that I can use to check?
Thanks =]

Well if you're sick in the mornings that is one sign that you could be pregnant. If your periods have been irregular then you should try and keep track on a calander to see how far apart they are and then you can calulate ovulation etc. Also go to Planed Parenthood and they can do a pregnanty test for free. Also Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart has all these things out by the Rubbers etc so you wouldn't have to ask for any thing. Get Clear Blue Easy it's the most accurate on the market. If you're going to be active I would also suggest useing Rubber, or even the pill. Good Luck hope this helped?? Dawne

First of all , a good rule of thumb is " If you are to embarrassed to buy a pregnancy test , pac of condoms or go the doctor to get on birth control then you are too young , immature and irresponsible to be having sex and deffinitly having babies." Go to a pharmacy and get a test they are $8-$15 usually. You will know in 5 minutes and be able to stop with all the drama until next month.

If you are late with your cycle or it is time for your cycle.. then take a pregnancy test....... This is normally pretty accurate. Your doctor can do a blood test much earlier if you are anxious for any reason. The generic pregnancy tests from my experience are just as good as the big name brands.

Be aware, some people still have what seems to be a cycle initially, and many don't have any of the expected symptoms of pregnancy for several months..... [ie not everyone gets morning sickness etc].

Signs? Breast soreness, morning sickness, sudden mood swings, certain foods/smells making you sick that used to be fine. . . There are a lot of different things. The problem? They could also be nothing. You need to find out somehow. If there is a Planned Parenthood in your area, or a Family Planning clinic, go to them. They may be able to help you, and depending upon your state, may be able to do it without your parents knowing. They usually operate on payment based on your income. In college, I got the pill for free from Family Planning because I was not working at the time. They also did the exam and did the pregnancy test (routine before getting the pill) free of charge. Get in contact with them for assistance. If they can't help you, they may be able to get you help elsewhere.

My advice? You find out. If you're not, and plan on continuing to be "active", get some birth control. Because one of these times, you will be pregnant (if you're not now), and will have another set of problems.

most pregnancy tests are inexpensive, so try going to wal-mart and get one. some syptoms are: dizziness, nausea, cramping in the stomach, u have to pee a lot. u won't get a positive result on a pregnancy test unless you're at least three to four weeks pregnant. if ur still not sure after the test, then u have to go to the dr.

well, everyone is different. most likely you would experience some symptoms like breast swelling and tenderness, nausea. when i was pregnant i wasn't even late yet and i knew, some women just know, call it intuition. i know here in California the dollar tree stores sell pregnancy tests for a dollar. or you could look for your local planned parenthood location who provide free pregnancy tests, birth control pills, condoms, and can do std screenings. they don't charge and they don't tell your parents. please be careful in your "activity" you are very young to start a family and you can catch all sorts of nasty things. good luck to you.

I still got my period the first 3 months I was pregnant, so I would say that if you think you are, get a test. Also if you have severe heartburn and you've never had it before that might be a symptom. Another one is urinary tract infections

First of all, always use protection... Second, the only sure way to know is to go buy a test. There are many inexpensive generic brands that are just as good as the name brands.

Hi sweety, I think you should go to your doctor and get checked not only for pregnancy but for STDs... May sound a bit harsh but you are soooo young and probably not educated in safe sex if you don't know about pregnancy tests. Ask the doctor to tell you about the do's and don'ts.... Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about this stuff, he/she is not allowed to say anything about you or your file to anyone else.... & Please use protection! (condoms). There are worse things then pregnancy out there!
