I honestly think this team is better than the 2004 team. They need to get some pitching before the deadline, but with the Yankees likely out of the playoffs, the Red Sox have as good a chance as anyone to win it.

Plus they're now on a 10-game winning streak.

The pink Sox have a staggering shot of triumphing the series, in the experience that they make it to postseason. no longer many communities might want to matchup with a healthy Schilling and Beckett, no longer to point between the perfect youthful pitchers contained in the game, Papelbond (sp?). And if Foulke can go back to his previous self they could flow papelbond to the rotation, which supplies you them between the perfect a million 2 3 punches in a 5 or 7 sport series. the mission might want to be making the playoffs, which will be a mission of their branch, the position the Yankees are loaded and beware of the Blue Jays.

What do you mean CAN they? They WILL!! The best defense in the majors, a solid hitting lineup led by Big Papi and Manny Ramirez, a good starting rotation, and a fantastic bullpen led by Jonathan Paplebon will lead to victory for the Sox, much to the joy of the entire Red Sox Nation.

Go Sox!!

They certainly have the players to get the job done especially with young and promising players such as Lester, Youkillis, and Papelbon. Oh yeah, there is also Big Papi and the "Red" Sox, Curt Schilling.

Doubtful. Lacking a little bit in Starting Pitchers. And loss of Johnny Damon is tremendous.

Were doing fine without Johnny Demon, and Big Papi is cleaning up. It will be OK we'll kick the Yankees butts for sure.

Nope. No way.

There is no way they get past Chicago or Detroit.

The Tigers, my friend, have won 7 more games then the redsox.
