Buy sunscreen especially for your face, or, to save money, just buy a acne fighting-moisturizer with SPF 15 or higher. Never go with out sunscreen, you don't want skin cancer later on in life.

It depends on what sunscreens. Some moisturizers that help acne problems have SPF sun protection. If you put regular sunscreen on your face, it's not necessarily bad. But there is a chance the oil in it can clog the pores on your face. Try looking for a sunscreen or moisturizer for your face that can keep you from breaking out, but keep your skin safe from the sun.

Sunscreen is full of chemicals. You should be very careful what you put on your skin. I don't think it causes pimples or acne. A lot of people are allergic to sunscreen, so it would be best to try it out on your arm first. If it burns any part of your face don't use it.

Sunscreen is never bad. But I'ld pay the extra bucks and get a real good face sunscreen from Estee Lauder or Lancome. That way you don't have to worry about breaking out.

It will make your face look oily/shiny, but it is MUCH MUCH better than getting sunburned. You might try experimenting with different sorts until you find one that doesn't look too bad and that doesn't mess up your skin. You can also try using a more expensive or better one on your face, and a cheaper one elsewhere. And you can always put a thin layer of powder on over the sunscreen to minimize shininess.

Nope, it shouldn't be! But you need to buy the right kind. Make sure the bottle says "oil-free" before you put any on your face.

Actually, sunscreen will be good for your face because it prevents the skin from aging :)

It won't kill you....at least not swiftly...

take a look at all the stuff on the back of the bottle(man made chemicals)-surely,all that stuff can't be good for you.The human skin is the largest organ on our bodies and it absorbs all that stuff.

as for the acne...I'm sure it will make it worse, especially if you don't wash up thoroughly afterwards...

PS if the sun causes skin cancer then we'd all have it...studies have proven-mostly all the people that have/had skin cancer-used some type of sunscreen(man made chemicals!!!)

No....It protects you from the sun. I at age 54 have pre-cancerous moles that I have to have removed every few months so they don't turn to cancer all from not using sunscreen and having extreme access to the sun when I was younger. Just going to the beach or a cookout can be bad........USE THE SUNSCREEN!!!!

Sunscreen is awesome for you! I mean, it's better than getting skin cancer, although I've never experienced zits from using sunscreen, but use it, especially if you are fair-skinned!

No, sunscreen is great for you. It protects your skin from the sun's UV rays. Sunscreen can be oily, though.
