It means they were desperate

this is demanding to assert. i imagine it is going to remember on the officiating of the game. This international Cup has featured some neglected calls, besides as questionable ones. extremely, stats propose little or no. in case you look on the Portgual vs. Netherlands interest, the Netherlands had about sixty 2% ball possession and had many images on objective, yet Portugal squeezed out a a million-0 win. even as i imagine England may be the extra efficient crew, Portugal is extremely likely between the most well beloved communities today. If it became as a lot as me to foretell the score, i'd say a million-a million after finished time and then likely penalty kicks.

I'd rather Rooney score the winning goal with his hand in the final against Argentina - payback for '86!!

All England would feel good, Portugal would probably call it the hand of the devil. Holland would ask itself why didn't we think of that?

People that rate Portugal as fair players ought to think again or watch the Holland game again. Luis Figo is not worthy of this World Cup.

I would laugh at the hypocrisy of it all if the English celebrate it. (I'm from Argentina; I was 6 months old when Maradona scored the "hand of God" goal, and when I found out how it was done I was disgusted that our victory was so tainted, though the second goal made up for it in a very small way.)

that would be a lot worse than the "hand of god" if that's what you're thinking.the guy's not maradona!
i would obviously feel the portuguese were robbed and that england should loose the next game heavily.
but let's hope that doesn't happen and it's a clean win either way. there have been enough incidents for whole world cup.

I would not be happy. But the refs seem to call everything, so i don't see them missing a hand ball goal. Portugal will hopefully win. they just have to make up for Deco being out

Are you nuts? if something like that happens, he'll tell the referee and make him take the goal away. British players are a model of honesty, decency, sobriety and sportsmanship. Didn't you see Crouch asking the referee to take the goal away after the foul?

I would feel gutted, as I rate the English; together with Spain and Protugal (in the holland game they were provoked); as fair players (Unlike Italy and France)
