Well there are three main reasons for Prostate Enlargement; Prostate Cancer, Prostititis, and Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH.)

BPH is the enlargement of the prostate gland, the reason for the enlargement is still unknown.

Most Common BPH Symptoms are:
* Blood in the urine (i.e., hematuria), caused by straining to void
*Dribbling after voiding
*Feeling that the bladder has not emptied completely after urination
*Frequent urination, particularly at night (i.e., nocturia)
*Hesitant, interrupted, or weak urine stream caused by decreased force
*Leakage of urine (i.e., overflow incontinence)
*Pushing or straining to begin urination
*Recurrent, sudden, urgent need to urinate
*localized Pain

There are many different treatment options depending on the severity. Some are as simple as watching and monitoring the symptoms, Medications, and then there are some surgical procedures.

If you are having trouble I would suggest consulting a Urologist. BPH commonly affects men 55 years of age or older, however there have been an increased number of cases in younger men.

It is enlargement of the prostate, in your case it is only benign. Doctors can give you medications to shrink it. How old are you by the way? The older you are the more you're prone to prostate enlargement which later on will create problem with peeing as it obstruct the tube where urine passes. If it's already too big surgical intervention is necessary.
