well if he want to do things like that he is kinky or a little gay so i would say to him try a little male bonding and see if that pleases him and find yourself another boyfriend

I wouldn't say it's common, but in the end sex can just be about fun and new sensations (no pun intended) If you are both into it have fun, if not you might need to find someone you get along better with sexually.
It doesn't necessarily mean he's gay, but if it's all he wants to do, and asks you to put on a fake mustache and talk in a low voice, then you might want to rethink things.

Well, this is NOT common. If the two of you do not have a problem with it, then it is fine between both of you. If EITHER of you have a problem with doing it - don't!!

it's just something he wants to try. it is normal. if you dont feel comfortable doing that then tell him so. if he gets mad then get a new boyfriend.
