Triglycerides.

Nucleotides, Amino acids and Carbohydrates are soluble in water, and can thus not be hydrophobic by definition.

The answer is the triglyceride. This is a lipid and non polar. Non polar will not dissolve in water thus it is hydrophobic.

triglycerides or vegatable oil is my guess. It is used for getting oil and water to separate, thus hydrophobic.
