What if I sign the contract without the seller. how do I get my earnest money back?

Kind of confusing the way you worded your question. What do you mean by "without the seller"? In general, you will get your earnest money back if your financing falls through and it is so stipulated in the purchase contract.

You generally do not get your earnest deposit back if you sign a contract and then simply change your mind.

Be sure you know the terms of any contract that you sign. I never buy real estate without having the documents reviewed by my attorney before I sign them.

From my experience... the only way to get your earnest money back is to sign with a contingency, or if your financing doesn't go through, or if you have the house inspected and something is really wrong.

ask the realtor,,it should be refunded
