In some topics (religions, politics, etc.) if you say something very respectful, but different from what they think, some people will actually FEEL that they're being insulted. Why would that be?

My point is that often comments are most obviously NOT offensive, but these people will be offended only BECAUSE this person won't agree.

Because they want to think they are perfect and can't tell the difference between an insult and a diagnosis.

Well it is very annoying that EVERYTHING has to be politically correct. And it seems like being politically correct is somewhat swayed toward a certain side. There are so many double standards that it is hard to say any kind of opinion without hurting someone, somewhere in the world.

Some people are raised to reject all other views than their own, and will become angry when another voices their opinion, no matter how respectfully. This is learned behavior, and probably begins at home and is continued in the church that they go to. Sad though it is, this is not the way that Jesus was, and Christians, for example, tend not to be very "Christ Like" which is what I take being Christian is all about.

perfect i do ask your self yet attempting to be an a$$ because of the fact i did isn't the respond.if i knew i does no longer have mentioned something in front of you. you do no longer would desire to start attempting to push all and sundry around.actually everyone seems to be entitled to their very own opinion. we would desire to constantly no longer become indignant because of the fact the way somebody else believes

Because when you insult someones belief system it shakes them to the core. That's why we have to be rooted in the rock.

Calling someone stupid,idiots,***,lol,are not intellectual opinions in what is suppose to be a question(sometimes there is no question only a statement.)
