which album is better?: Dookie or American Idiot

i consider myself a green day fan. but i have not heard any of their later albums. I like slappy/39/smooth/kerplunk/etc. saw em in '91 & '92 ( they did a cover of "sweet home alabama" & passed the mic around to the pit & people were crazy!!!! )

For one I LOVE them grew up listening to them and have a green day relative i personally like Dookie etter but i also like American Idiot.

American Idiot is much better because they risked getting told off by the president to make that song..and i loved it and thought it was true..and plus they have all my favorite songs from them on that cd

AMERICAN IDIOT is my favorite. The way they wrote it was so unique, each adding on to the others song.
