I grew up with Mork & Mindy and he seemed too hyper for me to really enjoy. In fact he never seemed to break past the hyper/obnoxious role, and I've never been able to appreciate that kind of delivery in a commediane.

Mork and Mindy by far was NOT one of his best works, He has done some good roles in movies like (Jack, Hook,Jumanji, Ferngully (voice), Robots (voice)) He is Famous for Mrs Doubtfire, Moscow on the hudson, The fisher King, Awake, Patch Adams. I won't keep going.
What makes Robin Willians a Great Performer is that he is so Versatile, He is best known for his comedic roles and his character voices, but he has won Oscars for his dramatic performances. His best work is over the last 15 to 20 years. and he is still acting and doing voices today, He recently starred in the movie RV.

I'm 35 and I think he's SO obnoxious! I do remember, however, liking Mork and Mindy when I was little. I even wore those stupid rainbow suspenders.

Some of his stand up comedy is pretty funny, but none of his movie or television characters were never all that great. Then again it's all a matter of personal opinion.

Looking at things retrospectively are never as good as you remember them, personally I can see why Robin Williams isn't to everyone's taste but I like him. Especially when he does the more serious roles like Insomnia or one hour photo (I rate him in that, probably his bezt work).

Well that show was for a certain type of person. I mean what hole have you been living in that you haven't seen his recent stuff, or his stand up comedy? Get out and see his new stuff and see if you think he's funny.

He can be so very annoying. People confuse annoying with funny. I almost fell asleep in that dog of a movie where he dressed up as a woman - Monty Python did it so much better. he did go to the julliard school of drama though.............

Hey...I seen reruns of that lame show-that sh!t was hilarious!!
Also,he played in much more than just "nano nano"..."Mrs. Doubtfire" was extremely funny...and he's a brilliant actor...I'm not in love with the fool...but I give credit where it's due.I can live without him-but he is a great actor...

Have you seen Patch Adams? Dead Poet Society? If you watch those, you might change your mind some. He's very talented in the right roles.
