Invisible Man - by Ralph Ellison. Masterfully written book about the experiences of a black youht in 1940's America. What I loved about it is the rich symbolism......the author writes a scene, but it "means" something else.

Angels & Demons - by Dan Brown. I don't know why "DaVinci Code" is so popular when this is a MUCH better book! Fast-paced action thriller that expertly combines science, religion, art, and history into an exciting "can't put it down" page-turner.

She thinks that she has seen that girl floating by the ocean!! well i actually didn't get to finish it cuz it was long and i had to turn it in but i wished i had it so i could finish it!!! + i think that, that was the most SAD, ROMANTIC, SCARY book i had ever kinda read!!!

"the five people you meet in heaven" written by mitch albom. he is also the author of the international bestseller of "tuesdays with morrie". what is it about?

'eddie is a grizzled war veteran who feels trapped in the toil of his father before him, fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. as the aprk has changed over the years -- from the loop-the-loop to the pipeline plunge -- so, too, has eddie changed, from optimistic youth to embittered old age. the war left him wounded. his days tumbled into one another, a mix of loneliness, regret and sad dreams of what could have been.

then, on his eighty-third birthday, eddie dies in a tragic accident, trying to save a little girl from a falling cart. with his final breath, he feels two small hands in his -- and then nothing. he awakens in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a lush garden of eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by five people who were in it. these people may have been loved ones or distant strangers. yet each of them changed your path for ever.

as the story builds to its stunning conclusion, eddie desperately seeks redemption in the still-unkown last act of his life: was it a heroic success or a devastating failure? the answer, which comes from the most unlikely sources, is as magical and inspirational as a glimpse of heaven itself.'

i recommend you the book. it will make you think afterwards. you'll rethink about the way you see heaven. don't worry. it's pretty easy reading because the diction used was simple. what made it good was because, basically, it made me think.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The legendary story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his redemption into compassion for his fellow man is very powerful and the descriptive narrative style of Dickens has yet to be equaled as Tiny Tim says "God bless us everyone "

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. It was 830 pages and I read it 5 times. I lived that Civil War with Mammy, Scarlet and Rhett. I could find myself lost in Scarlet's bad temper and loving Rhett and hating Ashley. AHHH..Makes me wanna pick it up again.
