I am about to audition for a reality tv show called "Endurance 5", well the auditions are April 2007, but I want to be prepared. Have you heard of the "Endurance" series?? If yes, is it good?? But the real question I am after is what are some good tips when it comes to composing a 5 minute audition video?? This show is for teens 12-15 and I am 14. Your help is much appreciated!!

I worked with one of the casting assistants for the TV series Survivor. Now, there were a lot of casting assistants that watched the preliminary tape auditions sent in from people all over the country. But two of the people that my buddy selected and passed on to the casting director and the producers actually got picked for the show. What he told me was this: To make it past him the actors needed to be enthusiastic and outgoing. The ones he sent on to the casting director were real characters who had a LOT of energy and were very interesting to watch. They were the kind of people who just demanded your attention in their videos - you couldn't look away. It certainly helps if you're decent-looking, and if you have some kind of wild, weird talent, demonstrate it in a big way. Don't hold back.
