Who cares. It has genuinely no value. France and Spain performed a good adventure. the sport became not lost or won on a referee controversy. what's the ref going to do? say, "Oh the French beat my area i visit confirm they lose this time." if that's what you have confidence will happen there is usually a opposite attitude too. Then what if he says "France beat Spain. i ought to confirm they circulate all the way via and win the championship that way i will assert a minimum of we lost to the international Champions" in short, I dont think of it could have an instant impact on the sport. The referee won't be good, and can have some undesirable calls, that would desire to impact the two celebration. I merely dont think of this is going to likely be with regards to the adventure up.

Yes it was good to be able to watch a game of football without a lot of drama, I know there was some, but after what has happened at some of the games it made a nice change. The referee was very good and fair, lets hope the other referee`s are as good

Apart from the 2nd goal, which wasn't a foul as the replays had proven, and the offside Zidane was, which resulted in the 3rd Goal, there were few mistakes. But these two mistakes costed Spain their dream, so to me the referee was rubbish as well.
I think the best refereeing was Argentina- Mexico, with only Messi's goal being disallowed was the only referee's blame, as it was a goal (nevertheless Argentina won with a magnificent goal, which then more than made up for that mistake)

I agree that it was much better. In fact since something was said to the officials following the fiasco between Portugal and the Netherlands, they've all gotten considerably better. I know alot of people blamed the team players for getting so rough but the fact of the matter is that it is the officials primary responsibility to maintain control of the game - otherwise, why would we have them?

In a tournament full of bad refs, he was a refreshing and very welcome change. I enjoyed the game as well, even though I don't really support either team.
