Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Dove unscented. After washing and rinsing well apply a good moisturizer. Cetaphil makes a very good lotion that can be used on the face and body. It's also great for sensitive skin. Lubriderm is another good brand. Don't bathe or shower every single day. That just strips your skin of much needed oils. Once every 2nd day is enough. Also make sure you use sunscreen every single day, even in the winter. This will prevent damage to your skin. There are some good facial moisturizers with SPF in them. Neutrogena is a good one to try. And last but not least make sure you drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day to keep skin hydrated.

Go to Bath and Body Works, any thing there will help dry skin, if you get lost or confused, ask a sales person, they're always willing to help and usually have great ideas. My Personal FAVORITE, their 24/7 Radiant Moisture Gradual Tanning Body Lotion. If you have pale dry skin, this stuff is the BEST.

It depends on where the dry skin is. Usually what works for me is a Vaseline lotion. If it's your hands or feet though, you should smother the area w/ plain Vaseline, then put socks over the area. Do this over night, and I promise by morning, you'll see a difference. Just keep on applying the Vaseline at night until the dry skin is gone.

If you need something during the day though, I recommend Walgreen's Vaseline lotion. Works like a charm.

Use dove bar soap to shower and their exfoliating bath or shower gel. Then moisturize I recommend Suave in the morning and vaseline nightly renewal in the evening. If you can't buy the shower gel just use anyone you have at home and add a bit of sugar. This should do the trick.
