Long term (probably a week or so) ice, ibuprofen and as mentioned even Preperation H can help to a small degree. Short term find a doctor who has experience using leeches (yeah I know it sounds medieval but it's the fastest way to remove the excess blood that builds up in a bruise).

Put a bag of ice on your face to stop the swelling. Or whatever frozen thing you have. Leave the ice on your face for about 5-10 mins. Then put a warm cloth on your eye. Why'd you get punched in the face?
