SHUT UP! He is a living legend! At least he has the stamina to attempt to complete seasons despite his age. Some of these young dummies, are overpaid, and end up with missing games due to court dates. And as far as gas......who doesn't! As to him being fat, at least he ain't on steroids pretending he is a great athlete.
AND ONE MORE THING.......The man has class! I don't see any player today that embodies the love of the sport. I hope when he finally passes the mantle to Rodgers, that what he passes is integrity, love of the game, longevity, and leadership!
And if all you feel is he passes gas........well take a deep breath, that is the gas of a legend!

Farve is passed his prime, over the hill. He's now a beaten up quarterback with a team no shot at the Super Bowl. Too bad. In his prime, he was the best quarterback in the league. Never saw a quarterback who had so much zip on the ball and threw it with accuracy.
The Packers are going to have a tough time replacing him. Nevertheless they need to.

OK, Brett ( i must admit ) isn't as good as he used to be, but he used to be the best player in the entire NFL, He also had endurance, he : Sprained his thumb ( two times! ) and coughed up blood ( and more that i can't remember) and still played! And he also has the record for the farthest pass, and i think he donated like a million dollars to hurricane Katrina victims

I couldn't disagree with you more about the retirement thing. I am a Bears fan so having Favre still around is nice, because he is so old and his "toughness" is so overrated that you can count on those games to be W's from now on.

He stayed around to get more attention. He's an attention whore.
They'll be all over his nuts on mondays next year, they'll talk about how big his hands are, and how hard he can throw. But then he'll throw 3 INTS and lose.
But they'll still be talking about him for no reason.

Not to mention that he's the object of John Madden's latent homosexual pinings.
Hilarious to see that one of the most revered franchises in sport got held hostage by some guy who went to Southern Mississippi.

I thought Brett was still addicted to presciption pain killers. Did he over-come that?
