I want to rent my condo out instead of sell it. It has been on the market for 3 1/2 months and I have 3 months to go. Help?

Absolutely, tell your Realtor you wish to cancel the listing.

Your friendly neighborhood Realtor.

You should contact your Realtor and explain why you wish to cancel. Generally Realtors don't want to create a "bad faith" relationship with anyone, and the point of the contract with you is so you can't use another Realtor. He/She may be able to help you list it for rent.

Yup-you should be able to cancel or withdraw it. A cancellation means you could re-list in the near future with another agent. A withdrawl just means you don't plan on selling it anymore. Ask your agent for the legal implications of each.
