Because when he was younger, his mother told him he was special, and he believed her. I agree with you, Marvin Harrison is the real deal.

Basically, because he's got a Super Bowl ring now. And also because of his ego. The funny thing is, he thinks he's better than T.O., Marvin, and Chad(he's said it before in interviews) yet I think he's not even in the top 5 best wide outs currently in the NFL. I'm an Eagles fan, and everytime we played Keyshawn we shut him out good. The most he'd have is like 1 catch on us.

why is it that it's always the wide receivers who talk themselves up like that, you never hear a running back or a quarterback making a big deal out of himself like a terrell owens, chad johnson, or a keyshawn. maybe keyshawn took on a little bit of the bravado of the big apple from his years with the jets (remember the bright star and the flashlight, aka wayne chrebet?). or maybe he thinks he's leon. who knows?
i like marvin harrison too, he has quietly put up the consistent big numbers year after year. rod smith and torry holt are two other guys who catch the damn ball and keep their mouths shut. gotta like that!

Keyshawn consistently catches the ball and he can block receivers. He's just not a burner. If he had that getaway speed he would be a top WR in the NFL, IMO

Because at some point in his otherwise pathetic existence, someone told him he was good. So, his over-inflated ego ran with that and he became one of the biggest a** holes in the game...no, strike that, the world! GO STEELERS!
