Either to keep the damned immature loudmouth little brats out.....or......to keep out the old perverts that harass the hot chicks. It depends on which age limit you're talking about.

Because of legalities, like liquor licenses, closing time, security and because they know their clientele. I think the clubs for underage kids, or the ones that mix but you have to wear certain color bracelets are just drama's waiting to happen. There are much better things for 14 year olds to do besides go in a club. Good grief !

Because they don't want the liability of children possibly drinking alcohol.
Plus, minors in clubs cost them money since they are occuping space, but aren't able to buy anything from the bar, which is where they get most of their money.
That's also why minors usually have to pay high covers to get into all age clubs.

clubs have age limits mostly because minors wreck clubs and that brings the police not a good way to stay in business.

Main reason is that when guys get drunk, they loose thier senses. If the guy is like 25 and he sees a hot 16 Year old, and they GET IT ON!! then theres gonna be problems for everyone!! Even the club it happened at!!

some sertin clubs have age limits becuase they dont want kids to get into drugs or drinking in the clubs.

Liquor Laws.
They may have to pay a larger amount to have younger people in the club. It's a liability thing.
