Generally speaking no. There is a difference between motorcycle clubs and biker gangs which are recognized by the police as organized crime. Recently a whole branch of the Bandito gang was wiped out on central Ontario aledgedly by members from other branches of the same gang. They are a thought to be a puppet club of the Hell's Angels. Rival gangs are much more at risk then the average Joe out for a toot on his new Harley.

Gang is an antique phrase. They are called clubs these days, and no they are not a threat. They might have a tiff with another club, but that is not the average joe's business. If you see someone causing a problem and they are wearing colors, it is not because of the club, it is because of the individual themselves. There is a mutual respect that you see on the road with motorcyclists that you do not see with other motorists. How many car drivers wave at every other car going by? None. And how many cars stop by when they see you beside the road. Not many.

No just no, but HELL NO! Do you actually know ANYTHING about motorcycle CLUBS? If you want to be a part of, then i suggest you join the MMA and attend some meetings, they are actually very fun. Almost all recognized clubs have "runs" that are open to anyone, i have even done them in a car (chase). They cost about $30 per couple and there is always a friendly Party at the end stop. Check into it they are very fun.

Most MC clubs (gangs if you will) are not going to bother the average rider. As a matter of fact, you are more likely to be treated with respect. The only real conflicts you see are between certain clubs. The average rider is not involved.

Gangs, hahahahahahaha, is that what these weekend warriors are calling themselves now days. I haven't seen a real tramp in years. I know there must still be a few out there but I sure haven't seen any of them. These weekend warriors make me want to throw up. Bunch of wanna be's. We used to call em fish. Get all dressed up on weekends and play the part. I doubt they are much of a threat. They don't even know what a real tramp is.

It's motorcycle club, not gang. And they are no threat as long as you are respectful. If you act stupid and disrespectful, you may get a lesson in respect. Otherwise, they are just people, treat them with respect and you'll be just fine.

No. Motorcycle gangs are generally nice people however, you don't want to be in a rival gang or there may be trouble.

'gang' ANYTHING is bad juju, as far as I'm concerned. Gangs tend to be something above and beyond your 'freedom of assembly', if you wanna read about biker gangs in the past and the problems they caused, just go to www.google.com and type in 'biker gangs'. Thugs on 2 wheels are still thugs, and they give motorcycling a bad name..
