i didn't really understand how it ended. I enjoyed the movie but I didn't really get how it ended...if that makes any sense...how did she save him? what happened? twould be much appreciated.

the ending was a bit confusing...that's all...i know there was a 2 -year gap.

she figured out that it was him in the begining (who died on valentine's day) she wrote him a note and put it in the "magic" mailbox and she hoped he would get it. He did and it said to wait two years and come to the lake house if he read the note and lived and then a truck pulled up and there he was. It was pretty lame and I kinda want my money back.

Basically through the whole movie it had a two year gap between the two people. The ending kinda blew everything wide open, it basically tells u that there is only one true love out there, and if u miss it the first time u just might get a second chance thru a little thing called fate. Once she figured out that it him, the patient that she lost due the him getting ran over, she wrote a note hoping he would get it, telling him he had to wait for there perfect time for them to finally be together.
