Well, for once I got what I wanted. I really wanted Taylor Hicks to win. I liked all of the kids trying this time. Each in his or her own way was unique and darling. But I thought Taylor was a different from the run of the mill contestant. I was happy.

Without a doubt, I wanted Chris to win. He is so talented and different from all of the other winners and contestants. I think a big mistake was made when he got cut from the show.

But he's an alternative rocker, and alternative rock fans don't usually go for *mainstream* shows like American Idol.
I think Chris has quite a lucrative career ahead of him ;)

I thought it should have come down to Mandesa or Taylor. Chris would have been top 3.
