The Story it was funny, dramatic, and romantic.
Forest was honest, funny, simple, confident, humble, friendly, loving, caring,spiritual, faithful, innocent, and good. Anything but dumb.

i really like the movie very much. It has good moral values. Though gump is just a nerd. I always use one of his quotes. i think its very much related to our daily life.

Before "Forrest Gump" came along, I was so confused about the connection a box of chocolates had on life. But not anymore! Thank you Forrest. Thank you very much!

Forrest Gump has perhaps the best film soundtrack ever. Although, I have maybe a few other films in mind that are in that class of soundtrack greatness.

i agree with the evil atheist. the movie was going along okay until forest ran. that's when i lost it. and i DON'T think life is like a box of chocolates...most decent chocolates have those little maps in them so you know what you're going to get. life doesn't.

Nothing. The acting was was terrible, seemingly to match the one-dimensional characters and flat, cliched dialogue, the story was predictable and the movie's messages required no real thought whatsoever.

That no matter what you think about yourself, there is someone for you out there. Even the underdog gets the girl in this movie. Friendship goes far if it is real.

forrest was funny and didn't even know it. Tom Hanks is an amazing actor I hope he has a new movie coming out soon.

I like Forest Gump. I like the part about shrimp.
"Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it".
