sometimes when i gear down (stick shifter) to gain speed, the air vents on the dash push air into the passenger compartment that is misty-like, (i have to admit sometimes it seems pretty cool) but i was wondering if there may be a problem with my condenser. i had previously posted about water leaking under the floor to the co-driver & seat behind it.
The misty air does not smell like smoke or foul in any manner.
and, the only sensible connection i can make btn the transmission and the air is the increased air intake due to an increase in speed.
Is this a concern (the misty air)...and any advice about the water leak would be appreciated. Thanks

The mist is from cold air hitting the warm air, the compressor compresses faster because the RPM'S go up.The water leak to the inside could mean that the drainage for the a/c system is stopped up.Unless it leaks when the a/c is off, then it's the heater core.

The water leak could mean your heater core has gone out this would also cause your windows to have a mist on them as your coolant is being blown around through the fan to know for sure bypass the heater core this can be done by getting a hose connector from your parts store and connecting the two hoses that go into your firewall if doing this solves the problem than you will need to replace the heater core which is expensive if you take it in and a pain in the *** if you do it yourself

Usually if water is leaking on the floor board means you need a new heater core.
